New updates on PROFIT LANCE

Ok, 2 days passed and am updating my blog again. I was just informed by Mike (creator of PROFIT LANCE programme) that there had been very interesting new updates in the member section of PROFIT LANCE, which everyone should check out:

1. "The Adsense Plan" - A one year plan for building small but successful sites. It shows you how to structure the pages, how to do your linking structure, and how to grow each site. (Located in the Blueprint section)
2. E-book on MySpace Marketing, Viral Marketing Strategies and many others that will provide you information on how to help you get traffic (Under Getting Traffic section in Learning Centre)
3. Keyword tool - At present the main ones are Adwords and Overture (though Overture is showing only data of Jan 2007 as latest data). Mike has recommended Keyword Elite (though its not free)

Own website up... YIPPEE!!!

Hi again,

It has been a while since I last updated the blog, and there's a good reason for that too! Its been a really amazing 3 weeks, as I took on the task to build my 1st website!

I only knew very little HTML coding and it was definitely not sufficient for me to build my own site. Thankfully there is BLUEVODA which has made my life very much easier. This programme enables you to design a webpage in a breeze, often within a day! Its a WYSIWYG programme which means that you see exactly what you will be getting on your site while designing it. Just like using MS Word in some extent.

In the last 3 weeks, I have already designed about 20 pages using BLUEVODA. Easy! You should check it out if you have always been daunted about doing your own site. You can then have it hosted by VODAHOST which includes a free domain name and you can even host unlimited domain names on them after.

Anyway, I have made use of mainly Adsense to obtain income from the site. Main purpose at this point is to cover the cost of hosting and maintenance of the site. Have already started generating some income, though I need to get my traffic up.

Done PR postings, article writing (though E-zine takes an awfully long time to approve them), some affiliates programming, an even started a forum! Great achievement for someone who has never had much experience in e-commerce or website building etc, don't you think?

Affiliate Marketing or Adsense?

It's been almost a week since I last updated my blog as had been having problems with blogger account. Have also been understanding the materials found on PROFIT LANCE, and other useful materials which I have obtained along the way. From the PROFIT LANCE site, I have generally found that my content focus has been more on finding a niche market and driving traffic, of which at times I had to read some articles at least twice to grasp full meaning of what I should do. The key decision then lies on whether I would want to focus on whether I would use Affiliate Marketing or Adsense as a mode to generate earnings.

Of course I could combine both, which I am sure some people are doing, but wanted to start off step-by-step to also master techniques taught. Ultimately, PROFIT LANCE will help you make $$$ only if you learn and make use of the techniques taught, otherwise if you are looking for an instant money-making programme, then this programme is not for you. PROFIT LANCE will definitely generate $$$ for you, as many of other PROFIT LANCERS have already confirmed. Some are already making about $100-200 a day! But this will only happen if you put into use skills taught, which further also improve your soft skills.

The below is what I have done so far, and may not be what you have to do to achieve success. Between last week to now, I have:
1. Decided to start my own website - Focusing on affiliate sites pre-included on PROFIT LANCE does not provide me with much free will to do what I want with it, and I personally feel this will limit potential of earnings.
2. Found a niche market - Its a personal interest of mine which I am passionate about, but have never found a direction to implement something online. Decided that will use Adsense technique taught on PROFIT LANCE than using Affiliate Marketing
3. Signed up for a domain and created my own website within 2 days! (and I don't have much knowledge of developing websites in the past either! So if I can do it, I am sure you can too!)

Of course my website is still rather raw, and mainly only the main page is up. Currently developing more content for other pages at the moment, and as this is a large scale topic I have undertaken, this would be something which I will be working on a continual basis.

Will post my developments as I go along though not as regularly as I hope to do so, as my time will be diverted mainly to creating my website. Hopefully will start earning money soon! :)

More Information found on PROFIT LANCE? :O

I just realised that there are more information on PROFIT LANCE than I had expected. I had previously only explored the left section of the links, but only realised today that there are more information on links found at the top of the page. Those who are members will know what I mean. WOW! And realised the site is added with new information constantly!

Information will be very beneficial to those who already had some experience with internet marketing, as it will be easy for them to pick up quickly. Nevertheless, for those who are newbies, taking it step by step should not be a problem. Mike Andrews (founder of PROFIT LANCE) has done a good job and in fact been rather prompt with email answering. Asked him a couple of questions of how to get started as am rather overwhelmed at the moment, and he came back to me within a day! Talk about efficiency! Not much update on PROFIT LANCE today as I am still reading up and figuring my way around it.

Good news is Googles has done some adjustments with my blog for me to access HTML Edit, though I can't remember what I wanted to do with it now.. haha.. have to refer back to my notes! Bad news is, think there is a bug on my site. I am now facing problems with template and adding elements and overall viewing of the blog! !#$%^& hmmm.. Webmaster, please do SOMETHING!!!

First steps to success...

Have decided that will try and update my blog as regular as I can on how I am progressing on PROFIT LANCE programme (with exceptions of weekends and when I am out of the country :D), .  I have never used a blog, so bear with me in the meantime for the rawness of this page.  Check out my 1st blog which I did on experimental basis http://profitlancenow.blogspot.com Definitely worse than this site... haha.. It's all in the process of learning!   Hopefully it will also help fellow Profit Lancer's in the future or those who are deciding whether PROFIT LANCE is for them.  Decided to also print off the resources from PROFIT LANCEmembers website as its easier on the eyes for reading and for cross referencing.  Probably spent half the day yesterday just printing the e-books and materials from the site.

 

Before joining PROFIT LANCE, I have never heard of Adsense or Adwords or del.icio.us <- thought this is used to describe how wonderful food tastes! haha..  I have never known what does Clickbank or Ezine or some other internet terminology do or means either.  I feel so behind time, and to think I have been using the internet for a long period of time and am in the marketing field of work!  Such a failure... haha.. Hey, at least I am starting to learn!  And I would never have learnt it if I didn't purchase a programme with PROFIT LANCE.  Maybe one day I will start writing or summarising what does all these terminology mean to the layperson out there.

 

Today's the 4th day and what have I done or achieved so far:

4. Applied for Google Adsense -> I JUST RECEIVED MY ADSENSE ACCOUNT TODAY! :D

5. Going through the articles and e-books on PROFIT LANCEsite (have only covered maybe 30-40% of what is available online?  Can you imagine the amount of information there is?!? )

 

Was starting up my Adsense account earlier, and it can be quite confusing.  For those who do not know what Adsense is, have you ever wondered how does ads endorsed with "Google" on it actually show up on some sites and not on others, and in some strategically arranged locations?  Yup.. that's due to Adsense!  You must have an account in Adsense before you can have those advertisements appearing on your site.  And why do you want it?  It's part of how you can make some additional income on the side.  If someone visits your page and come across an "ad" on Google on your page, and clicks on it, you get money. 

 

I don't have much exposure in advertising, and when there are many internet jargon used, it does take some time to understand what it all means.  Anyway, am going to start off with a simple version of Adsense first and then build it up and improve on it as I go along.  BUT I have to first figure out why my blog is refusing my access into "Edit HTML".. !#$%^&* Already posted a note to the blog forum, hope I get some solution soon!

WHY PROFIT LANCE?

Friday 11th May 2007, I undertook a bold decision... PROFIT LANCE.

I have many dreams, amongst which include buying a car, owning a house by the beach and many others which require a sum of money before I could actually own them. I have always wondered why are some people more successful than others? Do they work harder, or are they just luckier? I work hard at my job, but I don't see it giving me the income which I need in order to fulfill those dreams. Luck may play a part, but I was also determined to be successful. And thus started exploring ways to earn extra source of income.

Everyone wants to earn more money right? However, many of us don't have the solution or the method or the source of doing so. The same can be said about me. I have been asked to join MLMs, companies which provide incentives through referrals etc, in the hope that it may lead to reaching my dreams. But many of these companies require you to purchase a lot before you earn some income. Neither do they always strive to give you the added touch to improve yourself. Many of them are just keen on achieving an initial sale and leave you to fend on your own.

The internet has become a powerful tool over the last 5 years in many aspects, from closing communication gaps, increasing knowledge awareness, getting products not found locally and many others. Why not include making money for yourself, I thought. Afterall, I keep getting unsolicited mails to do just that, but I don't trust those emails to provide me with the solution I was looking for. So I embarked on a search for a programme which can do just that, and the hits generated from Google were aplenty!

It was mind-boggling initially, reading about one programme to another. I first came across Ultimate Wealth Package, and initially thought it sounded like a great programme. But decided not to be too rash and do some research before I sign onto it. I have been rash before and paid for programmes which were not worth the price. Mind you for those who are considering to undertake one of these programmes on-line, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! I know of people getting cheated, or not getting the proper response they require. Some of these programmes even says "This is how it is to be done", but they don't tell you the "HOW". Afterall, isn't that the most important question to be answered?

Anyway, I was researching on Ultimate Wealth Package online and came across a forum which had exchanges about different ways to earn money from home, and many had complaints about Ultimate Wealth Package. In the same forum, I had come across a number of other programmes as well as a posting on PROFIT LANCE and found that there are high positive reviews about this programme, and hardly any negatives. Everyone also mentioned that PROFIT LANCE stresses heavily on providing an individual with the marketing tools one needs to succeed.
